The Sun is the body every other one is measured against. It brings fire, and fire is not the quiet element — whatever this sky touches, it touches where people can see.

Thai weekdays are named for the seven bodies of the old sky, and so are Korean ones. The Sun and the Moon are the two not named for an element, so this one comes from the Purple Star chart instead, where 太陽 is fire and 太陰 is water. That table was already in this reading before Thailand was.
