What each half is doing

The Moon in Sagittarius: The Moon is what has to be in place before you can rest. Yours keeps asking whether it even matters — the fire half, and the one that rarely makes it into the introduction.

How the two of them move

You start it and then rearrange it while it runs. Very little arrives in the shape you announced, and the shape it does arrive in is usually the better one.

Element says what the two halves are made of. Mode says how they arrive — a cardinal Sun and a mutable Moon are the same materials handled at two speeds, which is why two people with the same pair of elements can look nothing alike.

The Sun holds a sign for about a month, so a birth date settles it. The Moon changes sign roughly every two and a half days, so anyone born near a crossover has to check the hour before trusting the Sagittarius half of this page. We would rather say that here than let you carry the wrong Moon around.
