What the two skies do to each other

That is two skies out of four. The other two — the main star of your Purple Star life palace, and the planet-star of the Thai day you were born into — are decided by the hour you were born, so neither is fixed by this crossing. They can nod, and they can argue. Most of the time at least one argues, and that is the part of a reading worth paying for.

Yang Earth (戊) is the levee built high: a decision made once and defended afterwards. You do not renegotiate the course with the river every spring.
Yin Earth (己) is the levee that gets repacked every season. Your holding is maintenance rather than monument, and it is why yours rarely fails all at once.

- Does the Levee stop the water?
- No, and that is the point. Earth controls water by giving it a course, not by ending it. You are in the disagreement and you are winning it by directing rather than blocking.
- What happens if a Levee gives?
- The chart reads tendencies, not events, so it will not tell you. What it does say is that the holding is quiet work, and quiet work is the kind nobody funds until it fails.
